Resident Insight:
There are 119 households within Western Beach Apartments, with an estimated total of 236 occupants (data from January 2022).
Resident Profile Survey Results:
52.1% of households completed the Resident Profile Survey in October 2024, telling us that:
Households were asked which channels ("select all") they'd be happy to receive notifications about building safety through, between Email, Whatsapp, SMS and Post:
Households were also asked how they wish to engage with the Management Company on building safety-related matters. They were provided with the options of: "In person meetings", "Online meetings", "PDF proposals that can I read to in my own time, with a questionnaire for feedback (with no meeting)", and asked to select multiple if they wanted to. The results are as follows:
Households could also suggest alternative methods for these discussions to take place or to become involved in building safety decisions. The two alternative methods were:
Conclusions
The survey shows that the large majority of residents are happy to receive communications and notifications via email, which will therefore remain the main channel for providing residents with relevant notifications about building safety matters.
There is still a reasonable demand for meetings with 61% of households requesting some kind of meeting (online or face to face).
Monthly meetings are held between the Management Company Directors (MCDs) and Jennings & Barrett. Other meetings, which can be attended by other parties within Western Beach Apartments, subject to suitability, are detailed below.
Meeting invitations will be sent to the relevant parties via post and email (whichever is required or most appropriate for the meeting type).

The Welcome Pack was been provided to Leaseholders upon the instruction of Jennings & Barrett as managing agents in November, 2023. Contents of this pack are also sent to new Leaseholders at Western Beach Apartments (subject to receipt of relevant documentation upon purchase of the unit).
The Annual General Meeting conducts the company business of Britannia Village (Nine) Residents Management Company.
The AGM tends to coincide with the publishing of the annual accounts. Minutes will be circulated to all Leaseholders with the pack for the upcoming meeting. Invitations are posted to Leaseholders three weeks (21 days) ahead of the upcoming AGM.
Following feedback from the Resident Profile Survey, this meeting will be conducted online.

Another requirement of the Building Safety Act - we must create and regularly review a Resident Profile as part of the Building Safety Case.
The Building Safety Case is required to register Western Beach Apartments as a High Rise Building with the Building Safety Executive. The profile must contain any information relevant to a safe evacuation of residents in cases of emergency.
The profile will be stored:
If you are a Leaseholder at Western Beach Apartments but rent your property to tenants, it is your responsibility to make sure that they fill out the residential profile survey.
The survey for October 2024 has been sent via email - if you have completed this survey before October 2025, there is no need for you to re-complete the survey, unless the occupancy total of your household or the needs of anybody living within your household has changed.
Any other information you need as a Leaseholder will be sent via email as required. It is the responsibility of non-occupying Leaseholders to ensure that this information is passed through to your property occupants.
These emails will come from Blocks Online and so may not be directly attributed to a member of Jennings & Barrett's staff. If you are in doubt about the validity of any communication from Jennings & Barrett, please call our office on 0203 598 6995 to confirm that you should action it.
